Pastor Mike and Kellie can both attest to how the Lord works in surprising ways. The couple actually met while helping in the church kitchen before and after church fellowships and have been serving the Lord together ever since. For the past twenty years they have been ministering at Quentin Road with their three children: Michael (age 12) and Ryan and Brooke (age 8).
Mike graduated from Dayspring in 1998 and Kellie in 1992. Over the years, Mike worked for Victory In Grace, through the monthly newsletter, the telephone ministry, and in TV production. He was also an integral part of the choir. Kellie taught the children’s Sunday school class, served as a camp counselor, and helped in the music ministry.
Looking back on their college years, the couple shared, “Dayspring gave us countless ministry opportunities and showed us the ‘how-to’ of local church. DBC instilled in us a vision of reaching the world.” Mike and his family are moving to Ohio to help at Chili Crossroads Bible Church. Pastor Mike will be song leading, and Kellie will be assisting with the various weekly outreach ministries. When asked about their transition, Mike shared, “From selling our home in a rough housing market to my current job allowing me to work remotely, God’s provision has been evident.”
